October 2021

We hope to see you at our official kick-off event on November 4 at 6pm!

If you haven't already done so, renew your membership for the 2022 grant cycle to help us achieve our goal of at least TWO $100,000 innovation grants.

We are now accepting LOIs for our 2022 grant cycle and applicants can find the relevant information HERE. The deadline for submitting a completed LOI is November 10 at 11:59 pm so if you know a nonprofit that meets our eligibility criteria, encourage them to apply right away.

We hope you can join us on 11/1 at 9am for the rescheduled private guided tour of Central Park with renowned tour guide, Harvey Kopel. This event is hosted by our founding member, Marlene Baumann, longtime volunteer at the Central Park Conservancy.

Can't make it - no worries, meet us in Long Island City on 11/9 at 9am for a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline and another chance to get to know the women of Impact 100 NYC. Get an insider's view of LIC with founding members Hope Buerkle and Eram Siddiqui. Hop on the ferry to Queens & bring a friend.

Register for LIC Waterfront Walk

Like the Impact 100 NYC model, nextgen teens work together to learn about NYC nonprofits and award a collective grant. Know a teen in 8th-12th grade who is committed to helping those in need? Make sure they sign up for the upcoming nextgen event taking place in Queens on November 7 at 10 am where they'll be planting daffodils with The NYC Daffodil Project. Can't make it but want to become a member of nextgen? Email nextgen@impact100nyc.org

Thanks to everyone who attended our October "get to know us." It was a great chance for prospective members to learn about our mission and meet some of our Founding Members. The next "get to know us" is being held virtually on November 15 at 10 am. Feel free to come, bring a friend, or pass this along to any women you think might be interested.

Reaching Out Community Services is looking for volunteers to help distribute 500+ turkeys and fixings to families in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday. This event will take place on November 22 at their Brooklyn facility located at 7708 New Utrecht Avenue (D train, 79th street stop). Volunteers can sign up for one of two shifts - 10am to 12:30 pm or 12:30pm to 3pm.
