Summer 2022

Even though warm summer days are still upon us, our Impact 100 NYC team is busy planning events, engaging with our grant recipients, recruiting new members, and building committees. We hope you'll read on to see what we're doing and ways in which you can get involved.

If you haven't already done so, please take a minute to renew your membership now for the 2023 grant cycle and reserve your spot in all of our upcoming activities. Not a member yet? Let's change that now!

Payment in full for renewals/new members must be made by December 31, 2022.

Our Fall Kick-Off event, The Big Learnwill be held in-person at The Greenwich Lane on October 19th at 6 p.m. It's a great chance to meet other members, hear updates from our 2022 grant recipients, learn about the 2023 grant cycle and grant review process, and find ways to get involved.

We will also be hosting an Impact 100 NYC Young Professionals networking event on September 28th at the offices of Idealist for members 35 and under. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot when you get your invite.

Details to follow on both!

Our 2023 grant cycle begins this Fall, but we are already getting the word out to the nonprofit community. Impact 100 NYC is seeking proposals from nonprofits across the Five Boroughs. We leverage umbrella organizations, nonprofit service providers, and local government agencies to reach out to their networks and share this grant opportunity. If you know of a group that has access to a large network of nonprofits, please help us connect with them so that we can continue to widen our pool of applicants. Also, if you know of an individual nonprofit that may be interested, please also refer them to us. Send your ideas to

On September 14th, we will be holding a virtual information session for nonprofits interested in learning more about our grant parameters and application process. Please share the details with any organizations you are aware of that meet our grant parameters which can be found here.

Fiver Children's Organization, our 2021 Innovation Grant Recipient, was thrilled to share pictures of their high school students hard at work on college applications in the Serve Cabin, which was constructed entirely due to the support from Impact 100 NYC. It's incredible to see our generosity in action.

We are looking for volunteers to host Impact 100 NYC info sessions for prospective members throughout the Fall. You pick a convenient date and time, invite your friends, open your door, and we'll take it from there. We can also help plan a virtual get together. Contact Risa Schessel if you're interested in planning something.
