April / May 2022

Mark your calendars for May 19th for The Big Give - when we hear from our four Innovation Grant finalists and vote for which two will each receive a $100,000 grant. This year, The Big Give will be held in person so you'll have a chance to meet, mingle, and network with other Impact 100 NYC members and hear live from each of our four finalists. Similar to last year, voting will be conducted through an online platform, so members will be able to vote upon hearing from our finalists regardless of whether they attend The Big Give.

After a preliminary grant review and virtual site visits, on April 3rd, our nextgen teens narrowed down the field of applicants to their three finalists. nextgen members will be doing one additional round of evaluations before announcing their final recipient on May 16th (hopefully in person). There is still time for interested teens to get involved and help grow the grant, while also gaining valuable skills and community service.

There's still time to sign up for the April 30th ribbon cutting ceremony at Camp Fiver in Poolville, NY. The ceremony begins at 2 pm and, for those who can stay, will be followed by cocktails and dinner. We have rooms reserved at the Colgate Inn in nearby Hamilton, NY. Click HERE if interested in more details or email Nonprofit Relations.

Throughout this month, our grant review committees will be conducting site visits with the 12 nonprofits that have moved onto the next phase of our grant review process. These visits provide members an opportunity to connect with these organizations in a more meaningful way, and get firsthand insight into how they are serving and supporting our community. Thanks to everyone who has been putting in the time to meet with these various organizations.
